Event Photographer at Rio 2016, delivering the dreams

As a corporate event photographer, the Olympic games is the ultimate assignment. Rio 2016 was the ninth time Elite Image has delivered for a major sponsor.

Event photography at something as big as an Olympic Games is a major challenge.  It requires specialist skills and systems to deliver a quality product for our corporate client in a high pressure environment.

Elite Image provides comprehensive event photography package for our corporate client, including…

Slideshows –  constantly updated with the latest guest and event photos.  We display these in hospitality areas, the check in desk and on transport to and from the events.

Bespoke online photo gallery – powered by Smugmug, with all the event and guest photos accessible to view, download and share.  We track the hits for client reports and password protect the guest galleries for security.

We cover everything in the corporate hospitality programme from start to finish.  It’s more than just the glamour of the 100m final.  We also cover the dinners, activities, locations and all manner of operational shots.

Achieving all this means long hours, constant deadlines and good old fashioned hard work for our event photographer. But we’ve unrivalled experience in doing just that.

Every Olympics brings its special moments and Rio 2016 was no exception.

  • Beach Volleyball on Copacabana beach.
  • Usain Bolt winning the 100m and smiling for our camera on the way past.
  • Mo Farah showing off his 2 Gold Medals.
  • Spectacular Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the famous Maracanā Stadium.
  • Michael Phelps last swim in an Olympic pool.
  • The amazing sunrises on famous beaches and panoramic mountaintop views.

There’s no rest for our event photographer when it’s all over. We provide post games statistics for our client, field all sorts of questions from the guests and publish a stylish coffee table book for a corporate gift.

We’ve sorted through the 1000’s of photographs we took over our time in Rio  and picked some of our favourites.  No easy task for an event photographer.
